The novelty in whole-body cryogenic therapy

The application of whole-body cryogenic therapy (cold therapy) especially to combat rheumatic disorders is considered to be one of the most effective therapies possible. The positive effects on inflammatory processes leading to a lower sensitivity to pain and improved body functions have been proven in numerous studies.
With the development of the ***crio space cabin*** Linde CrioMed has created the ideal prerequisites for a successful and safe therapy, which also takes into account the increasingly important economical aspects.

As opposed to cryochambers using liquid nitrogen technology, the ***crio space cabin*** is equipped with a refrigeration unit whereby cold air from -60°C down to -110°C is led in as a laminar flow via a surface of one wall into the cabin and then carried off via the opposite wall.

As a result the operating costs of the ***crio space cabin*** are only a fraction of the costs incurred with nitrogen cabins, but with identical positive therapy results.

Due to this optimal cost-effectiveness the crio chambers are also suited to the needs of rehabilitation and therapy centres, since whole-body cryotherapy is not only limited to treating people suffering from rheumatism but can be used in treating movement disorders as well as neurodermatitis and is also effective in areas of preventative medicine.

Linde Criomed has therefore developed and produced customised solutions for many therapy centres.
